... I forgot to mention that the costumes were excellent. Unfortunately, for me, bad costumes bug me, but I have only praise for the costumes in this show!

I saw the play Friday night and really enjoyed it. I also saw it at Little Theatre of Alexandria, three or four years ago and enjoyed it there too. The only thing I found a bit disconcerting was the switching on and off of accents - some had the accents of the characters portrayed and some did not. Also, I liked the Schmendiman (Brian Randall) character and also liked his crazy costume (I could see Steve Martin in it). All of the costumes were well done.

Yes! We definitely saw the same show! I became a big Eric Lucas fan after seeing him play the professor in Sceana's Limetree Bower earlier this year. He is a brilliant actor. Regarding the young actor who played Schmendiman. I wish somebody would tell him not to shout. Maybe it's just me, but when actors shout, I can't understand what they're saying. The Gunston 2 is a delightful small threatre -- no need to shout.
