Janet, First off, thank you for your kind words about our production. As far as the accents are concerned, Chris and I had the great honor of performing in Ireland for two months with Keegan Theatre this fall and our accents are really based on just being surrounded by it. Although the Northern Ireland accent, especially Belfast, is different from the Republic, a lot of the vowel changes and word changes were taught to us by Eric and Kerri Lucas, the artistic directors of New Island Theatre Project. Keegan has traveled every year to Ireland for the last 8 years, so there are a lot of the company members who have great Irish accents as well for us to study. Once again, we appreciate your support.

I enjoyed this show so much that I plan to see it again! The . As a frequent theater-goer, I feel priviledged to see this type of production in this area. Re the podcast, I wondered if there was a discussion about the accents that might have been cut. The actors did a great job, and that's not easy. It's painful to listen to bad accents, but these guys seemed to have the NI accents down. I'm not an expert by any means. What's the word from native Irish? I know that this company has support from embassy.
