It is not proper form for a theatre to display love, relationships, birth or aging? I can think of some fine productions that were based on all of those things. That said I think a little more clarity on feelings about the play and less of a personal attack on the playwright - actor might be a better way to express one's thoughts.

You are a Vulgarian.
You made every stage of life demeaning and disgusting.
That Theater J. thought it was the proper form to display love, relationships, birth and aging, is an insult to our humanity.
The only thing missing was displaying Sherry on the toilet making private noises and singing.
I came home and vomited.

Just saw the show yesterday afternoon. The interview really added to the experience. I wondered where Sherry lived and how long ago her husband disappeared. Thanks, Joel, for giving us some insight.

Very interesting and thoughtful interview. The long road that brought Sherry Glaser to write and star in Family Secrets is also described in her book. A production that is well worth seeing.
