I saw Nest on Monday evening and I have not been able to stop thinking about this thoroughly engrossing production. While the action takes place in 1809, the themes and issues raised couldn't be more contemporary. This is an important new American play that deserves to be seen and discussed by the nation. Calarco's production of Doran's riveting new work is simply perfection. Thanks for a great review. Although I would have given it 5 stars!

I think the program may have been misread. The husband character is Jacob and is played by Charlie Matthes; Joe is the young writer character and is played by Michael Grew
