		<description>TWO CENTS WORTH of THOUGHTS
From G.L. Maker on
SCENES FROM THE BIG PICTURE

There is a FOUR STAR WINNER from Solas Nua on view at Catholic U.
SCENES FROM THE BIG PICTURE by Owen McCafferty works soooooo well in so many ways.
First there is the staging by the director, Des Kennedy, over to these shores from Ireland. This sprawling multi layered creation moves along for its almost three hours at an exciting pace that many a bigger theatrer company in town only wishes they could emulate. ... Second are the almost two dozen players bringing this writing to life. NOT A WEAK CAST MEMBER to be found on the stage in "BIG PICTURE." These actors range in age from early twenties to the senior set. ... Those that can't get enough of GOOD THEATRE had best book a seat for this exceptional presentation before it plays its last performance (June 24) &#38; becomes a historical high point of theatre in DC in 2007.
