I was disappointed that it was more about the universal themes of friendship than it was about gay love. However, it's great that a straight man can write a love story of sorts to another straight man. We need more artists like this in the world. I attended one of his performances at a synagogue here in Richmond and the show was a true delight. It is rare to see such a gifted Jewish writer able to convey important topics related to the worldwide community.
