Frankenstein The Musical

Interviews with Christiane Noll and composer Mark Baron

By Joel Markowitz

Frankenstein The Musical was one of the surprise favorites of the Ushers’ NYC weekend. and Joel didn’t want to leave town without learning more.

Joel caught up with DC favorite Christiane Noll (Witches of Eastwick), and shared a ride with her from the 3 West Club, where she had just finished an event, to the show at the 37 Arts Theatre. Talk starts with what’s happening with Witches of Eastwick, and, as the driver dodges traffic, Christiane talks about playing Elizabeth in Frankenstein The Musical.

Listen here.

Earlier, composer Mark Baron stopped by to say hello.

Mark talks about writing this very dark, very human musical which returns to the Mary Shelley novel for inspiration and has a chance to respond to the NYC critics.

Listen to Mark and hear some of his score here.
