I noticed that I had a smile on my face most of the show...the only times I was not smiling was when I was almost in tears with L. Munsey singing "I am what I am" and when Georges and Albin sang together about how they had met. What a wonderful show it was. By the way, I know some people are hesitant about driving "so far" to get to a show. I live in the City of Fairfax and made it door to door in 59 minutes...no big deal! The brunch buffet was good too. I was cheating on a diet I have been on since after Christmas and what a nice was to cheat! Joel, throughly enjoyed the fantastic show and cast of La Cage aux Folles at Toby’s yesterday with the Ushers Group. Having seen the show twice before, I was reluctant to go again. I'm very glad I changed my mind and went to Toby's--this was the best rendition of the three! Lisa is a friend and colleague, and, although it's been awhile, so is Lynne.They are both fabulous on so many levels. I just feel Lisa got short shrift in a number of different ways on this one and she deserves to be recognized for having rocked this role to the rafters, just as Lynne did.
