Thanks, Joel, we love you, too! "Bizarre" is indeed a word for President Harding Is A Rockstar - Kyle Jarrow is a true maverick of musical theatre. :)

Harding will also feature another awesome set by Jared Davis who designed for TAP's Forum!

I absolutely agree with Joel about the terrific star performance given by Andy Izquierdo in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." I know the temptation with classic musicals is to say "but I've seen it so many times." As Joel indicates, though, Andy's Pseudolus is fresh, funny, and different from any of the half dozen other performances I've seen in the role.

I also want to echo Joel's anticipation for "Next to Normal." I went to a cabaret performance at the Kennedy Center back in the spring with Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner. Alice sang a song from "Next to Normal" that was powerfully touching and spoke of her love for the show. I believe this production will be even better from the prior off-Broadway version and I am eagerly looking forward to it.

Great article Joel. I saw both shows and they truly were fabulous productions. Mr. Izquierdo and Ms. McManus gave outstanding performances that everyone should see.
