They do not and the play does not. I thought there were amusing moments. But it is a cheat to have the characters tell the story. It did not allow me to get invested in the characters. I was interested but felt the story was shallow and the characters although drawn out a bit, could have resonated with me much more with better material. All in all I was very disappointed especially since it is two of the areas finest actresses.
