Since Matthew Gardiner and Michael Baron are Signature affiliated, is it possible that this version of "Music Man" might make it to Signature Theater in either the Ark or Max if they have an available time?

Encouraged by a number of avid theater goers around town and Steven's review as noted above, I ventured out on a cold night tonight and was warmed by close to 76 musicians and actors/actresses in what has got to be one of the best of 2009 here in DC. Definitely something the Helen Hayes reviewers should consider evaluating. Noting that tonight's tickets were available and tomorrow was sold out, I believed I better see it now before tickets were unavailable for the run. My enjoyment level reached the zenith fairly early into the show and stayed through the finale. Entwining the choreography so artfully within the theme of the show, Matthew Gardiner does a superb job in bringing its evolution movement-wise simultaneously along with the plot development. It wasn't till the show was finished and I found myself along with the rest of the audience on our feet wildly clapping did I realize I never saw the theater version and had always depended on the movie for comprehending why "we got trouble". I am thrilled I had chosen Washington Savoyards as my first time to experience this American masterpiece. Don't think 76 seconds before securing a ticket before they sell out and close the show on March 8.
