Rahm Emanuel gives tips on playing him

rahmemanuelProving Democrats haven’t lost their sense of humor, they have been showing up at Woolly Mammoth Theatre for their current presentation of Chicago’s Second City’s latest show Barack Stars,  which been drawing sell-out audiences is set to close this  Sunday, August 9.

Latest to drop in on the Obama sketchfest was White House Chief of Staff and long-time friend to the Obamas,  Rahm Emanuel with his wife Amy, who stayed after to meet the cast and give  Seth Weitberg some pointers on playing him.

Last Tuesday, the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee had a pre-show reception and attended the show. Senators Kerry & Specter, though they couldn’t stay for the show, met the cast backstage before it began. Sen Durbin taped an interview with some cast members for his IL cable show and then stayed for the performance and met the cast afterwards.
