beautyfatherlogoAn estranged daughter reunites with her father, a painter in Granada, only to fall in love with his 20 year-old Moroccan houseboy and sometime-lover. The presence of the ghost of the poet Federico García Lorca, who visits the painter and becomes his conscience, adds a sense of magic to this play about impossible love, infidelity and sacrifice. This acclaimed Cuba American author received the Pulitzer Prize for his play Anna in the Tropics.
