Alex, Alex, Alex you "sound" like a difficult person to please -a stiff. What a downer you are. and there's nothing wrong with Taylor Hicks' selling his CD at the end of the show. Nobody is being forced to buy the CD. Relax and stop complaining.

Grease is hardly the least profane musical out there. It frequently relies on profane jokes and includes themes of gang violence and sexual promiscuity. It's not the vulgar show it used to be but it's not exactly G-rated either.

Actually Grease is a fun production for all ages -- and attendees of all ages laughed, clapped, whistled and obviously had a good time. The cast, set, and music brought back an stage productions didn't have to include profanity, nudity, ugly insults, murder, or horrible "music" to be get good reviews.

BTW, the orchestra was made up of more than 4 people. Dominic Fortuna, David Ruffin, "Frenchie", and "Jan" and Taylor Hicks were stellar in their roles -- Laura Zarkin was a little stiff but she has a good voice.

A great way to escape from the tough winter we've been experiencing on the East Coast. If you have a chance buy a ticket to attend a fantastic show during the last few months of the tour.

Light, fun entertainment. I enjoyed the show; would love to have seen/heard more of Taylor Hicks.

Yeah, this production was good awful. Take your money and go support local theaters that are doing far more interesting work

You don’t bring in an internationally recognized face for a cameo unless it can impress…and Hicks delivers the goods. Finally someone who gets it!!!

I couldn't disagree more. Don't throw your money away; stay home and watch the movie.
A four-person orchestra, stripped-down set, weak costumes, and some even weaker performances in key roles make this a purchase worth crying over.
Laura D'Andre as Rizzo gave the best performance of the show in "There Are Worse Things I Can Do." While I agree that it took a while for D'Andre to really pop, everyone else just fizzled. Ace Young and Lauren Ashley Zakrin were awful in the lead roles, huge disappointments.
Taylor Hicks gave a reasonable performance during the show but disgusted me by shilling his CD at the end of the show. I only wish I'd been one of the many who fled the theater after the closing number.
Any production of Grease has some nice, mindless entertainment value but this one had little else.
