Hilary Kacser’s double reprise, “In Pursuit…” and “Disorder”, are magnum opi and and a tribute to a terrific reworking
of what were once seemingly rushed attempts.
What people don’t know is that Ms. Kacser was going through a family crisis regarding her mum’s incessant cancer
and eventual passing while the brave actress was trying to put together a first revision of “In Pursuit…” and working
on a first version of “Disorder”.
“Disorder” is a semi-autobiographical story of a woman who has a “hoarder disorder” — inherited from her dear Mum.
Both works were revised with great success.
Touching bits about her mother were added with sensitivity and aplomb!
Ms. Kacser plays an enthusiastic guitar and accordion.
Audience reaction to both works at The Goethe Institut lower auditorium was appropriately enthusiastic at the right spots!
Next up for this talented actress may be another one-woman opus – about Ayn Rand.
