Just announced – the Kennedy Center’s star studded production of Follies, just ending its six week sold-out run here on June 19th, will be transferring to New York City for a limited run this summer.
The $7.3 million production of the Goldman/Sondheim Tony Award winning musical will move into the Marquis Theatre, until recently home to Frank Wildhorne’s recently shuttered Wonderland.
Exact dates, Broadway cast and ticket information will be announced shortly.
Just announced – The four leads in the Kennedy Center production have been confirmed for the Broadway limited run at the Marquis Theatre. Bernadette Peters will star as Sally Durant Plummer, Jan Maxwell will play Phyllis Rogers Stone, Danny Burstein will play Buddy Plummer and Ron Raines will continue as Benjamin Stone. Tickets go on sale to the general public July 5th.
