The sun comes out for Annie, and revisiting Chaplin

There were two Sandys in town last week — there was the mongrel who attaches himself to Annie Warbucks in Annie  at the Palace and of course there was the hurricane that attacked Broadway, Coney Island, the Rockaways, most of New Jersey, Staten Island  and southern Connecticut.  

Ro Boddie – at home on stage and now television

The rest of the country is starting to notice Ro Boddie.

All This Intimacy

If men were angels, Ty Green probably wouldn’t have gotten three women pregnant in one week. But men aren’t angels, and I suppose even a desultory poetry professor can manage a wild few nights from time to time.
