Jordan Wright hails from three generations of show business. Her grandmother was Betty Morton of the Ziegfield Follies; her step-grandmother was Corinne Griffith, noted silent screen star; her father, Georgie Price, a popular entertainer, CBS radio show host, songwriter and vaudevillian; her sister a theatre critic on radio, in print for Variety, and as a member of the Outer Critics Circle. In the sports world her grandfather George Preston Marshall was the original owner and founder of the Washington Redskins football team. Director Matt August on Liberty Smith

Matt August returns to direct Ford’s Theatre’s world premiere of the musical Liberty Smith following up on the popular run of his direction of A Christmas Carol, that played at Ford’s from 2004 through 2008.  His previous directorial credits include the Broadway production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2006, 2007) and subsequent national tours (2008-2010).  Off-Broadway credits include Sixteen Wounded, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Judith and Meet John Doe.  August has served as a Killian Fellow for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, a Robert Wilson Watermill Directing Fellow, and was a recipient of a Drama League Fellowship. Blue Man Group’s David Traver

Blue Man Group and its multi-media experience comes to the Warner Theatre on March 23rd for a brief 12-day run of their first ever touring version of a theatrical production. The organization, which now has over 50 employees, was founded in New York City in 1987 by three friends – Phil Stanton, Chris Wink and Matt Goldman. In 1991, their first Off-Broadway show, Tubes, captured an Obie and a Lucille Lortel award. They followed up with music and scores for both film and television, national and international tours from Las Vegas to Brazil, and numerous late night show appearances.
