$80,000 – $130,000 grants for devised works

Thanks to Hip-Hop Theater Festival for Eblasting this news. The National Theater Project (NTP)‘s Creation & Touring Grants provide funds for creation and touring of collaborative, devised projects. These grants are highly competitive and are awarded to approximately 6 projects annually. Grants generally range from $80,000 to $130,000.

DC Black Theatre Festival auditions, April 1st

Actors’ Center lottery auditions. Register by March 23

The Actors’ Center, a 30-year-old non-profit membership organization, today announced that it will stage auditions exclusively for Actor’s Center members on April 9 and 10, between 10 am and 4 pm. The Center states that approximately “40-50 casting directors from theatre and film audit the auditions.”
