Dec 30 — Gene and I visited two actors familiar to Washington audiences – Brad Oscar and Diego Prieto – in their mid-town NYC home to discuss Brad’s new role(s) in the musical comedy hit and Tony Award Winning Best Musical Monty Python’s Spamalot.
Diego, whom many will remember for his work at Arena Stage, his outstanding performance in Kensington Arts’ Kiss of the Spider Woman, and this year’s musicals at Signature, Saving Aimee and The Witches of Eastwick. tells us what it’s like to be the new guy in town at auditions and his first Gypsy of the Year Show, the 50th anniversary of West Side Story. (Watch the Broadway.com video here.)
As the interview comes to a close, Brad and Diego tell us their wishes for the new year and send out greetings to all their friends in DC. Enjoy it here.
HAHA! I LOVED listening to this. I love Brad and Diego anyway, and listening this was like having a nice fireside chat with them. Whatever that means. Anyway, fantastic interview, and me and DC miss you both terribly!
