There were so many excellent musicals this past season, from the traditional to the off-the-wall. But for sheer entertainment value, I thought that “Gutenberg!” was the best deal. And it had so much to say about literacy, too. I’m disappointed that it wasn’t nominated. I hope that someday that feisty little theater company will bring it back.
Where is The Happy Time? I saw it twice and loved it. It was so charming and real.
“Gutenberg: The Musical” was robbed!
We showed you our writers’ top 5 choices. The nominations are comprise of their top 3. Glory Days was Gary’s #5.
Why is Glory Days not in the nominations? Gary McMillian nominated it!
