The In Series’ WAM! – a celebration of Mozart’s life in music and dance, in collaboration with The Washington Ballet Studio Company.

Through dance and music performed by twelve young international ballet stars and a cast of six In Series’ opera singers, WAM! travels through Mozart’s life and bears witness to the transcendent enchantment of his music. Journeying from childhood to adulthood; from Vienna to Paris and London; from innocence to tragedy and romance, the evening includes important selections from the operas Bastien & Bastienne, Abduction from the Seraglio and The Marriage of Figaro, as well as the beloved Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music). The WAM! musical journey also includes excerpts from Idomeneo, The Magic Flute, and several piano music favorites.

Carla Hübner and Carlos César Rodríguez. Choreography by Septime Webre, David Palmer and
Jared Nelson, from a storyline developed by David Palmer and based on Mozart’s letters.
