Theatre Du Jour announced that its upcoming production of Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story at DC Arts Center has had to be postponed due to the illness of one of the two performers. Because of the busy schedule for the Arts Center, a new date for Zoo Story has not been confirmed.

About Lorraine Treanor
Lorraine Treanor has been editor of DC Theatre Scene since 2006. She has produced concerts and plays in her hometown of Chicago, and twice in the Capital Fringe festival. Her daughter Nina Norris is an artist working in Chicago. Life's a blast because she shares it with writer Tim Treanor.
How did they get the rights to this? I thought only non-professional and colleges theaters were allowed to do the stand-alone one-act. Everyone else has to do the new version, with Albee’s new first act, “At Home At The Zoo.”
I confess to not knowing anything about Theater Du Jour, but they look like a pretty professional company to me. Is the production free?
