Joel Markowitz interviews actresses Hollis Resnik and Margaret Anne Florence, now starring as Margaret and Clara in Arena Stage’s The Light in the Piazza. They talk about the relationship they have built for these mother and daughter characters, and the advice Molly Smith gave them.
As a special treat, for a few minutes, Hollis slips into her Edith Beale character from her acclaimed performance in the Philadelphia Theatre Company production of Grey Gardens, which Joel saw last year.
