For four sold out performances in New York’s Avery Fisher Hall, a star studded cast performed Stephen Sondheim’s Company acompanied by the New York Philharmonic. The recording of that once in a lifetime event is now touring area cinemas and opens in the DC area for a limited run this week.

Neil Patrick Harris. You loved him as this year’s Tony Awards emcee. In Company, he plays the single friend in this Sondheim musical about relationships. Joining him are Broadway vets Craig Bierko, Jon Cryer, Katie Finneran, Christina Hendricks, Aaron Lazar, Patti LuPone, Jill Paice, Martha Plimpton, Anika Noni Rose, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jim Walton, Chryssie Whitehead and Stephen Colbert.
All four showings at Landmark E Street Cinema have sold out. There may still be tickets to be had at AFI Silver, Silver Spring, MD (5 showings, June 15 – 19.) in Annapolis, Reston and other locations. Obviously, buy them online to be sure of a set.
