Audiences tuning in for tonight’s scheduled GOP debate will see Wolf Blitzer introduce the candidates, and then Mauricio Pérez, one of four Frankie Valli’s from the national tour of Jersey Boys now at the National, will join them onstage and sing the national anthem for the candidates, the audiences gathered at DAR Constitution Hall and an anticipated national audience of 5 million.

The event, presented by The Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute, will air live Tuesday, November 22nd, at 8pm on CNN.
At last night’s tech rehearsal, Pérez, who is originally from Miami, Florida, received permission to remain for the full debate, which will feature the eight candidates – Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann, Jon Huntsman, and Rick Santorum responding to questions on foreign policy, national defense and the economy.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer will head the panel which will include foreign policy experts from AEI and The Heritage Foundation.
That was just about the worst rendition of the national anthem I’ve ever heard. It wasn’t just nerves either, this guy needs to look for another career…
Mauricio looks like just too nice a guy to be stuck on stage with the GOP low lifes!
