Nu Sass, which won Best Comedy at last summer’s Capital Fringe Festival for Priscilla Dreams the Answer is back with a 2 day concert version of its first musical, Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods.
Nu Sass promises ” a whimsical, irreverent concert performance of Sondheim’s classic musical. No Staging. No Set. No Costumes. Just two hours of amazing singing, 15 actors, 22 sock puppets and a whole lot of zaniness.”
The Nu Sass puppet version will have two performances, Friday, Jan 13 at 8pm and Sat, Jan14 at 7pm at St. Stephen & The Incarnation Episcopal Church, 1525 Newton St, NW (corner of 16th and Newton NW). Nearest Metro: Columbia Heights Metro.
Admission is free, donations accepted to help defray production costs.
