Faction of Fools, DC’s Commedia dell’Arte theatre company, seeks a Costume Designer for Hamlecchino: Clown Prince of Denmark, running April 26 though May 19 at Gallaudet University.
This energetic and tragi-comic interpretation of the Bard’s most famous play matches Shakespeare’s poignant philosophy with Commedia’s surprising physical comedy. This show follows Faction of Fools’ critically acclaimed and Helen Hayes Awards Recommended A Commedia Romeo and Juliet. Rehearsals begin March 12. Stipend is available.
