Audiences have an additional week to catch Donald Margulies’ Tony Award nominated Time Stands Still. Studio Theatre just announced that their production has just been extended until February 19th. Time Stands Still follows a photojournalist who returns home injured from the battlefields of Iraq after years of dashing between conflict zones. When her reporter boyfriend makes a pitch for domesticity, Sarah must choose between the thrilling but dangerous life she craves and the physically safe but emotionally perilous life she doesn’t quite understand.
The much lauded cast is headed by Holly Twyford as the injured war photographer Sarah. DCTS reviewer noted: “Studio Theatre has embraced the challenge of Time Stands Still with great aplomb, and the results, like Sarah’s photos, speak for themselves. “ Audiences have agreed.
