Auditions Feb 8 from 2 to 8pm
Impossible Theater Company is looking for five (5) multi-faceted actors to devise a site-specific performance about the Apocalypse and our connection to the Divine. Actors of all ages and types will be considered, however,those actors chosen may be expected to play a variety of widely different roles.
Actors with talents in playing instruments, singing,acrobatics, poetry, dance, foreign languages or other supporting skills are highly encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company 641D St. NW, Washington, DC 20004 on Wednesday February 8th from 2pm to8pm. Please do NOT contact WoollyMammoth with questions regarding the audition process.
Auditions will be conducted in 30-minute blocks with no more than 10 actors in each block. Actors should arrive early and expect to work for the entire 30 minute block, whichwill consist of a variety of improvisational exercises used to create smallverbal and non-verbal scenes. Please come prepared to move.
Rehearsals will begin in late February and continue through July with increasing frequency based on actor availability.
Performances will take place during the first two weeks of August.
Actors will be paid a modest stipend.
