Playing Molnár, the Hungarian playwright born in Budapest, is a little like snowboarding. You have to ride the dialogue well forward and stay dangerously fast and loose to get plenty of air and lift off.

Family Under Construction (Familia en Construccion)
Five madcap players from Spain fire up wholesome, exciting ‘theatre with a capital T,’ for this weekend’s addition to The Moon’s Embrace, Teatro de la Luna’s newest festival. The tight-knit troupe from the Factoria Teatro company deliver dialogue so rapid-fire, switch characters, scenes and props with such split-second ease, they take your breath away.

WAMU 88.5 and Lean & Hungry Theater will present a live-to-air broadcast of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, at 6 p.m. on March 4, 2012. The performance can be seen at Wilson High School, 3950 Chesapeake St. NW, Washington, D.C. and will be followed by a post-performance discussion led by WAMU 88.5 host Kojo Nnamdi.
