DC Theatre Scene launches a new series today called Tent Talk, a special month-long celebration of the friendships, conversations, and brief encounters that happen at the 2012 Capital Fringe Festival.
Tent Talk brings us into the thick of the action at the Baldacchino Gypsy Tent Bar — the watering hole, social hangout, and performance venue right in the heart of the Fringe neighborhood, at 607 New York Avenue NW. With so many interesting artists and audience members mixing and mingling in one central locale, we think it’s the perfect time and place to profile some of the people that make Fringe so special.
The short articles that appear in this series will be entirely user-generated. Anyone who wants to write an article is invited to participate. Find yourself chatting with an interesting individual, or a group of them? Take the opportunity to interview them for Tent Talk!
Not only are Tent Talk articles fun and quick to submit — they also enter you into a drawing for some great prizes, such as complimentary tickets to upcoming shows at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Studio Theatre, Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre, Signature Theatre, and more!
