Tickets went on sale to the general public this morning for The Book of Mormon, and within minutes, the flood of ticket seekers crashed the Kennedy Center’s site. (It’s still not available as of this writing.)
We are told by a source inside the Kennedy Center that the lines at the Box Office are quite reasonable. If anyone tries it, let us know.
I went on the website for AMEX which was supposed to have early access to tickets. It did not work. But, when I went to the Kennedy Center website and applied the Amex information, after a few tries, they put me in the “waiting room.” In about 45 minutes we got tickets for the back row of the second balcony in about 45 minutes.
