Just announced – Adventure Theatre MTC’s production of Good Night Moon has become a casualty of the federal government shutdown. While the company itself receives no federal funding, today’s announcement explained, it is located on National Park Grounds in Glen Echo Park which is closed.
“Our hearts go out to other organizations and families affected by the shutdown,” says Michael J. Bobbitt, Producing Artistic Director of Adventure Theatre MTC and Choreographer of Goodnight Moon. “We are currently looking into added performances and new opportunities for relocating the show. This shutdown has the prospect or doing great harm to the organization financially, and we hope the issue is resolved soon.” Check back with Adventure Theatre MTC for updates.
