With their critically acclaimed mounting of The Iceman Cometh ending its run in barely 2 weeks, Quotidian Theatre Company announced the casts for the two remaining productions this season.
Christopher Henley, fresh off his successful performance as the oleaginous Cardinal Pandulph in WSC Avant Bard’s King John, will play the title role in Quotidian’s upcoming production of Brian Friel’s Faith Healer.
Faith Healer is the story of Frank Hardy, who once cured ten people in a Welch village and thereafter wondered whether he had a real gift or not. Laura Russell plays Hardy’s wife Grace and Nick Sampson is Teddy, his manager.
Faith Healer runs from April 14 to May 14, 2014. Laura Giannarelli will direct.
Famed Irish playwright Conor McPherson has given Quotidian the rights to the U.S. premiere of The Veil. This is a story of an arranged marriage interrupted by a séance; Michael Avolio, Jane Squier Bruns, John Decker, Steve LaRocque, Stephanie Mumford, and Michele Osherow, Christine Alexander and Chelsea Mayo are featured. The Veil will run from July 18 to August 17, 2014 with Artistic Director Jack Sbarbori directing.
