Beginning Sept 30, 2015, Synetic Theater’s season will offer the reprise of two critically acclaimed productions (Romeo and Juliet, and Twelfth Night), a new wordless Shakespeare set in America’s time of peace and love, Woodstock, 1969 (As You Like It) and two new shows with dialogue.
The company’s gift of swordplay will, we assume, be on ample display in The Man in the Iron Mask, the followup to their 2013 offering, The Three Musketeers. Lloyd Rose, whom some of you know as a TV writer most famously for the Doctor Who series, and others, as a theatre critic for the Washington Post, has adapted a version of Alice in Wonderland, which will open Synetic’s season and be part of the Fall’s Women’s Voices Theatre Festival.
