As just announced on DramaUrge:
Slow Theatergoing. Taking a chapter out of “One Book, One Community,” theaters will focus productions on one play per season. It is hoped that patrons will have a chance to see a show that everyone’s talking about before it closes while building on the model of Shear Madness.
Parking Fee Rollback. Noting that a vibrant arts scene is important to the District’s nightlife, Mayor Muriel Bowser said she will reinstate the 6:30 PM deadline Mon-Fri and allow free weekend parking to all theater, music, gallery, and museum attendees. All previous citations can be exchanged for tickets to future shows.
Say what? Due to an upsurge in replies unrelated to the articles at hand, the DC Theatre Scene will now post reviews based on comments.
