Update: Hamilton will be in DC for a 14 week run mid-June to mid-September, 2018.
The national tour of the Broadway musical Hamilton will be coming to the Kennedy Center as part of its 2017-2018 season, it was announced a few minutes ago by Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller and the Kennedy Center.

DCTS confirmed that it will be onstage in the Opera House, the only certain detail released so far. Casting, performance dates and ticket prices to be announced.
Subscribers to The Kennedy Center’s upcoming 2016-2017 season will be first in line for Hamilton tickets as they receive first choice for the 2017-2018 Broadway season subscription, of which Hamilton will be part. “This is no different from our usual process,” Stephanie Stohler, press contact for The Kennedy Center told DCTS. What is unusual is announcing a show this far in advance, but “we just wanted to share what we know as soon as possible,”she added.
The 2016-2017 season subscription goes live May 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. ET at kennedy-center.org/subscribe.
The Lin-Manuel Miranda hit musical Hamilton received unanimous raves from New York critics including Jonathan Mandell, is the winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and was recently nominated for a record breaking 16 Tony Award® nominations, including Best Musical. Watch to see how many Tonys Manuel and company take home by tuning in to CBS Sunday, June 12 at 8pm ET, or watch it live via The Tony Awards.
