The pair are hoping to commit suicide before happenstance or the end of the world do them in, so that Humanity’s final act can be one of brazen defiance. They just can’t bring themselves to do it quite yet.

When it comes to plot however, the play is short and light. The apocalypse is represented by ominous rumbles, which ironically include a human voice on a radio, poking an unnoticed hole in the central premise that Jamie and Duncan are alone on Earth.
