Broadway.com is hosting a livestreamed reading of Terrence McNally’s 1991 play Lips Together, Teeth Apart. View it on Broadway.com and Broadway.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels at 8pm ET on Monday, April 6 at 8pm.
The performance will feature Emmy Award nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family, Take Me Out), Ari Graynor (The Sopranos, Brooklyn Boy), Tony Award winner Celia Keenan-Bolger (To Kill a Mockingbird) and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, The Boys in the Band). The reading will be dedicated to McNally, who passed away from coronavirus complications on March 24.
Each day that theaters remain dark, entertainment professionals face unprecedented health and financial challenges requiring immediate attention and resources. The event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund, helping those onstage, backstage and behind the scenes impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
