A large group of #dctheatre volunteers are coordinating efforts at Woolly Mammoth Theatre and are collecting material and financial donations.
For material donations:
1) Folks can drop off donations IN-PERSON, contact-free at Woolly Mammoth any time between 12pm-9:45pm Friday-Sunday. They will wipe down and sort goods in the space.
2) Should you wish to remain in your car, or should you encounter a road closure, their Restock Team will come to you to carry back to our facility. To arrange a DROP-OFF, please email Dylan at [email protected] with an estimated time, and he will provide you the direct phone number of the site coordinator in the given window.
3) If you are unable to travel downtown, they have a dedicated team of driver volunteers willing to come to you to PICK UP donations. To coordinate a pick-up, please email Dylan at [email protected] to arrange a time, and he will provide you the direct phone number of one of the driving team members.
Based off of their current donated supply, they would best benefit from healthy snacks, spray bottles, baking soda, peroxide, saline, face masks, and cases of water. *We will update this as needs change.
If you’d like to make a financial contribution to purchase supplies, Venmo @ProtestorSafeSpaceDC.
