About this event:
In a place where parades come before schoolwork, a front porch is an open invitation to visit the neighbors and folks walk to the rhythm of a zydeco beat, a man returns home with a need to be free of his worldly ambitions and assimilate back into the community that raised him.
As he re-learns the language of “the good life” he finds himself at odds with the girl who’s passionately fighting against the ways of this close-knit bayou village. While Kate and Petruchio battle, tease and spar their way to love, they soon learn they are no match for the magic of a Louisiana night. Join us this October, as Pallas Theatre Collective takes this timeless love story to the bayou and discovers how far we must travel to really come home.
PWYC this weekend: Oct 18 and 19 at 2pm. No advance reservations required, just pay at the door.
