The National Academy of Sciences and the Shakespeare Theatre Company present a staged reading of David Feldshuh’s Miss Evers’ Boys. Feldshuh, a physician and playwright, chose to stage the shocking true story of the events surrounding the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. The play was a finalist for the 1992 Pulitzer Prize and the HBO adaption won multiple awards including the 1997 Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for TV Movie.
Starring Freddie Bennett, JaBen Early, Felicia Curry, Jon Hudson Odom, KenYatta Rogers, Jefferson A. Russell, and Gregory Wooddell.
