An Artistic Blind Date created and performed by Claire Alrich, Maryam Foye, and Britney Mongold
Nine artists from different creative disciplines collaborate over four months to create three original works. Each team of Artistic Blind Date artists was given one of our full-length plays to read and respond to as a jumping off point for the creation of their pieces. You’ll find the thematic grouping color-coded throughout the Festival calendar and website.
A tactile labyrinthine immersion exploring meditation, mythos, discovery, safe spaces and bravery. Three women traipse through their own mythology, celebrating heroes who made them strong. Guests are invited to find their own way through this web of dance, visual effects and prose.
