Jesus, Mary and Joseph — you know the story that spawned a million ugly Christmas sweaters, but imagine if in the middle of drinking your latte an angel popped up and informed you and your partner that NBD, you are going to be parents of the savior of the world.
Well, it takes the naïve couple in this play by surprise. This modern take on the nativity story is a wild comedy of errors between BFF angels, a politician’s evil minions, a stalking child drummer, the innkeeper’s union, farm animals and the daunting hopes of the world. In between laughs, Peekaboo! A Nativity Play brings you a woman trying to do right by her child, her dreams and the love of her life.
