Debbie loved the show, especially its cast with stars such as David Hyde Pierce. Gary gives kudos to the cast, but his general view is ‘Good. Not great. It’s as if Kander and Ebb were trying to write Rodgers and Hammerstein.’ Listen in on this late night recording to hear about Debbie’s serenade and Gary and Joel’s discussion of Kander and Ebb hits and misses. Gary called in to tell us Eartha Kitt is starring in All About Us, the newest revision of Kander and Ebb’s Over and Over, mentioned in the discussion.
