Super Glossy! Our Award: 4 Fringes (based on my gut feeling)

I really wanted to get this show – I really did! Heck, I am a modern guy who enjoys trying to understand the opposite sex, right? I have read my female friend’s glossy fashion magazines. Vogue, Glamour, GQ… no that’s a guy glossy. I like a little SciFi. Well the truth is, I didn’t get Courtney McLean’s new Fringe show and it came highly recommended. I know the plot.. “Courtney McLean is dorky and single everywoman Jane Fuller, who reluctantly caves to society’s pressures after *[email protected]%ing a Hollywood heartthrob and unwittingly becomes a pawn in the plot to brainwash the women of Earth!” I heard lots of great buzz and the crowd Wednesday night seemed to like it surely. There was laughter all the way through the show, sometimes mine but when it came time to leave and take that walk down Massachusetts Ave to get home…. I am thinking well…. Did you really get it? The answer honestly was no.
So Ronnie you ask — “Should I go see Super Glossy“? My honest answer here is yes. My explanation is this: Here is a show that you should not trust my judgment on. There were far too many people at this show with big smiles as they left for you to miss it. What’s next for me?
I am going to see Butter A Love Story. Now this is a show I am far more likely to get since.. FOOD… That I get!
