WSC Avant Bard returns to Artisphere tonight at 8pm for a reading of Sarah Ruhl’s new adaptatation of the Virginia Woolf novel Orlando. Based in part on the life of Woolf’s lover Vita Sackville-West, the novel has been described as “the most charming love-letter in literature.” Reading the roles will be Sara Barker and Kim Curtis, directed by Amber Jackson.

This is the first in the Gaurav Gopalan Reading Series. Guarav Gopalan was a much loved director, who was attacked and killed on the streets of Washington in 2011.
The reading takes place in Artisphere’s Town Hall/Lobby and the bar, WSC promises, will be open. Artisphere, 1101 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington VA.
