Imagine a Muslim political party, which embraces fundamental Islamist values, manages to win the 2022 France presidential election. And, they do this with the support of France’s Socialist Party.
Submission explores this dystopia in a biting satire that mixes fictional characters with real French politicians such as Le Pen, François Hollande, François Bayrou and Jean-François Copé. They all capitulate to the Muslim Brotherhood as it seizes the reins of power and implements Sharia law. This darkly comic play is based on the best-selling novel in Europe titled Soumission (“Submission”) which, by a macabre coincidence, was released on the same day of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack in Paris. Don’t miss our spellbinding drama that reflects upon a future scenario as it unfolds in Europe.
