Broadway musical performer Carolee Carmello is the much acclaimed star of Signature’s Saving Aimee. Carolee tells us how she came to be offered the role of Aimee Semple McPherson, her most enjoyable and most apprehensive moments in the play, thoughts on rewrites and hopes for the future of the show. Her husband is Gregg Edelman, also a successful Broadway performer.
How do they juggle two busy careers, home and children?
I agree that the new website is *very* difficult to navigate, and requires way too much scrolling. If I had my druthers, I’d just put a link to reviews–and not the pictures/blurbs currently there–as well as podcasts. As it is, non-essential information is highlighted in strange ways (for instance, without scrolling, I can link to ‘wicked tickets’ under ‘theater solutions’ *and* ‘wicked tickets’ under ‘stub hubs’: what’s the difference? and how often does one click on ‘wicked tickets’ anyway?), while juicier, changing, content requires god-knows-how-much-scrolling. Just my $.02.
Cheryl if you like email me at [email protected] and we can help you with it. New reviews are posted at the top of the main page, news and podcasts are posted right below. The newest 6 reviews and newest 4 podcasts and news posts are always on our main page.
Sorry guys but I have to agree with Janet. As a user I find this new web page format very difficult to navigate.
That was just a great interview. Joel you’re a great orator.
It is right on the Front page, just scroll down, it is titled : “Carolee Carmello” and the player is right there as well. No need to even leave the front page in order to play the podcast.
I enjoyed the podcast. Well done, Joel. There is a problem with the new format of this website. If Joel hadn’t sent out emails letting people know about this podcast, I wouldn’t have known it exists. The new site needs to be able to announce somehow that something other than the latest review has been posted.
What a fabulous interview! Course, how can you NOT have a fabulout interview with one of DC’s best treasures, huh? Great pic, too!
